Barcelos is an Afro-Portuguese restaurant which is in 16 countries having 200 outlets across the globe. Landed in Pakistan in 2017 offering it’s specialty Flame Grilled chicken with maintaining it’s standard of a international food chain & giving a tough competition to Nando’s.

The tongue tantalizing taste of flame grilled chicken cooked with lemon and herb sauce and served potato wedges is a treat for the mouth. I am huge lover of Espetada , I don’t know why but chicken on skewers it accompanies with the pieces of bell pepper and onion between the chicken pieces with savory rice!
The food was fresh, service was incredible & modern looking ambiance!

The first thing which impress me is the ambiance and I am a diehard fan of places which are spacious and have white decor or furniture’s and planters. And this place is exactly what my definition of perfect ambiance is. 🏡 I went on lunch, ordered Pepperoni pizza 8/10 – Pizza was thin crust with perfectly cooked soft pepperonis. Chicken Alfredo Pasta 9/10 – seasoned in Alfredo sauce and creamiest cheesy pasta was consummate and Alfredo Pasta 10/10 – it had no chicken as my friend is Vegetarian and I instantly gets impressed when we find a place which offers something to accommodate her. 😍 Also, the place is very insta catchy , it had an ample amount of light coming from the huge windows and looks very pretty even at night. Khausay & Kunafa 0/10 - Sometimes impulsive decision does cost you! 😏 - Went for lunch after ages at Dollmen clifton and suddenly I wanted to had "Khausay" and I couldn't find it anywhere & I never tried anything from this place so thought to give it a try! 🤔 - Although my intuition was alarming not to go for it but I was like never mind! It was a bowl of spaghetti with few chunks of chicken & flavourless water type of gravy! Thankfully they did remember to garnish to add the taste but failed. Kunafa was so soggy & it had nothing creamy. Koyla Chai Review

It is one of my favorite place now for many reasons. The peace this place has is impeccable. - Karachi has rare places which offers open air seating with less chaos & noise and beautiful live music 😍 The most attractive part is the "ghazals & songs" played along with "mithi ka piyala" gives an immense joy at least to me. Because of the "farshi baithak" , I find it very homely feels. Can spend hours enjoying the ambiance only. However; food is okayish, ordered zinger which was kinda dry so I would rate it 5/10 but Chai 😍 was 10/10 and so were the fries 🤩.
